Meet our head coach, Miruna Timotin.
Miruna was born and raised in Romania. She was professionally trained in RG for 10 years and was a part of the Romanian National Junior team. She competed in many international and national competitions. In 2006 she immigrated to Canada and in 2008 she founded Rhapsody Rhythmic Gymnastics. Her mission is to ignite the same passion and love of the sport to her gymnasts through hard work, discipline and fun. Miruna's work ethic has made great strides for Rhapsody and her club is producing beautiful and talented gymnasts in the competitive stream.
We are very fortunate to have Miruna's dedication and commitment to this beautiful sport!
Miruna is the Founder and Head Coach of Rhapsody RG. She coaches the competitive
levels and choreography class.
Miruna is certified as a Competition Coach (NCCP 2) and has First Aid accreditation.
Hello! My name is Skye, I’m 21 and I’m in my first year of university at St Thomas. I recently moved to Fredericton from Nova Scotia. I started out as a dancer when I was 3 and moved on to gymnastics when I was 6. At 13 I signed up for cheer-leading classes and I loved it! I am super passionate about gymnastics in general and I love sharing my knowledge and helping kids learn the skills that they need to succeed.
Skye coaches our Little Gymnasts and Gymnaestrada groups. She is also assisting the head coach with the competitive group.
Skye has started her coach training courses and is already trained as a Rhythmic Gymnastics Foundations Coach. (NCCP 1)
Meet Jessica Gasser,
Born and raised in a circus in Switzerland Jessica is now 26 and certified a professional circus coach by the prestigious Ecole Nationale de Cirque de Montréal.
Jessica has been a circus coach for more than 10 years and a circus artist for up to 17 years, won several prizes in Italy, Mongolia, Switzerland, France and got the second place at the final of Switzerland got Talent in 2015.
Jessica’s specialties are : flexibility, Handstands, Contortion, acrobatics and aerial.
Jessica recently relocated to Fredericton and has joined our team as our Hopes beginners group coach. Her skills, knowledge and discipline are of great value and she is sure to inspire the next generation of gymnasts!
Meet Da Lai Jin, also known as Heidi! Originally from China, Heidi moved to Fredericton in 2010 and is currently studying Statistics in her final year at UNB. She is captivated by fine arts, music, dance, and STEM.
Heidi joined Rhapsody Rhythmic Gymnastics in 2017 as an assistant coach for the competitive gymnasts. For the 2018/19 season, Heidi was the coach for pre-competitive gymnasts and two recreational classes, with ages between 4 and 10. Currently, Heidi is one of the choreographers for the individual and group provincial competitions, and is a judge at the regional, provincial, and Atlantic levels.
Heidi is a trained Competition Coach (NCCP 2) and Provincial III Judge.
