Rhapsodies Interclub - RI

9+ years old; Level 3 and 6; Selected (please contact)

At this level,  gymnasts are working to perfect their basic body and apparatus skills and add new and advanced ones. Training is focused on developing a competitive mindset, including nutrition and mental preparation,

 

Individual and group routines as per provincial rules are being introduced in the program. Classes are structured and follow the Canadian LTAD plan (long-term athlete development). Selected participants may attend Interclub or Provincial competitions.

Schedule*:

September 4 - May 16

  • No classes: Dec 25, Jan 1

* We encourage registrations for the full year September-May, however we accept registrations in October, January, February and March as well. Payments are prorated to reflect the starting month. 

* Does not include special clinics, March break classes and summer programs; please see below for more details.

  • ​2 classes/week:

    • Th 5:30-8:30pm - Cultural Center: 28 Saunders st.

    • Sat 9:30-1:30pm - Ecole des Batisseurs: 715 Priestman St

* Please arrive 15minutes before class start time and expect to pick up 15minutes after class end time to allow us time for set up and clean up.

    • Winter Wonderland - February 6,7,8; Hosted by Krystal Club, Grand Falls NB

    • Provincials - May 1,2,3; Hosted by Rhapsody RG, Fredericton NB

    • Atlantics - May 28, 29, 30, 31; NB TBD

** A provincial event, Gymnaestrada is an opportunity for gymnasts from across the province to get together ad celebrate the joy of gymnastics by showcasing creative routines. A recreational event, Gymnaestrada is open for all levels of gymnasts. Our club is proudly hosting the 2026 Gymnaestrada, right here in Fredericton!

Cost:

  • Registration fee: $150* includes GRNBRG fee (insurance), Costume fee, fundraising fee (winter and summer shows)

  • Program fee: $1530​ ($170/month)
